Shalom Shalom! This is an online journal for friends and family of my return back to Israel, after many years of absence, to pursue graduate studies in Economics. I promise to keep politics out of this and just focus on the day to day tribulations of life in Israel. Enjoy, feel free to comment, and come visit me anytime!

Update

So the last 3 weeks have been insane. The student strike has forced me to switch around my summer schedule to figure out how to balance between my academic needs and this internship. Basically I had to shift the internship earlier, and I will be in NYC on the 18th of June, with a week beforehand in SF to see the family.

This has created a whole slew of logistical issues to deal with. Subletting my place here (which seemed easy at first but then became a total nightmare) and finding a place in NYC (ideally with Coco) are the biggest obstacles. Then there is all of the smaller stuff: packing winter clothes, dealing with health insurance, dealing with money stuff, blah blah blah... On top of that, now that the strike is over I have all of this schoolwork as well.

I fly out on the 8th, a little over a week. I am definitely looking forward to a week in SF with the family and with friends, and I'm getting very excited about NYC as well.

I will definitely get back on the horse with posting and photos as soon as this coming week comes to a close and I can relax.
