Shalom Shalom! This is an online journal for friends and family of my return back to Israel, after many years of absence, to pursue graduate studies in Economics. I promise to keep politics out of this and just focus on the day to day tribulations of life in Israel. Enjoy, feel free to comment, and come visit me anytime!

I'm a bad blogger

OK, I'm a bad blogger... I haven't done a good job of keeping you updated...
So here is a brief summary of the past month since Passover break, just to catch up to speed.

My sister was here all of April, we had a good time, she went to Egypt for a week with my two friends Matt and Pros. I was supposed to go with them as well, but I had school.

But wait! Then a massive academic strike happened (and is still going on). Students and professors have been on strike for the past 4 weeks to protest against increasing undergraduate tuition. I wont get in to the details of it because it is actually a very contrived ordeal.

I will say that I am opposed to the strike for personal reasons, as I fear it might affect the internship i have this summer, the one that I have been dreaming about for the past 6 months...

So needless to see not much has been going on here since there haven't been any classes... I'm working on a project for the uni, and basically wasting time. I wish I could be more productive with writing and such, but there is just no motivation because there is no external drive to push me.

My father is in town for work again this week, we went to a great restaurant and I had a fantastic steak.

Also I have vowed to try to carry a camera on me much more frequently to take more photos. I have started putting new ones on the flickr site, and I will upload more over the coming weekend.
